Our current range of hosting packages were introduced in 2018 and they provided a number of upgrades over our previous packages and the majority of customers moved onto these new ones at the time to gain the additional benefits. At the time, we did not move any customers ourselves onto the new packages and you were free to remain on the older, legacy packages. (such as Web Presence, Budget Hosting, Lite Hosting, etc).
The pricing for these accounts have been fixed for the past 6 years and we have absorbed as much as we can now given the considerable increases in electricity costs, datacentre overheads and cPanel licencing (which has approximately tripled in the past few years) and so we are now moving customers onto the nearest equivalent package were possible and where this is not immediately suitable, there will be an increase in cost to the legacy package to reflect the running costs of these.
Should you be on a legacy package, these changes will take effect from the date of your next invoice, whether that be monthly or annually.
