What port should I use in my mail client

There are a number of ports that are used for e-mail and these are specific for their application within the e-mail process. When configuring your mail client, you may need to enter one of these manually:

Outgoing E-Mail Ports

25 - SMTP
465 - SMTP, SSL/TLS
587 - Alternate SMTP port for when port 25 is blocked by your ISP

Incoming E-Mail Ports

110 - POP3
143 - IMAP
993 - IMAP SSL
995 - POP3 SSL

Please note, we only officially support the ise of port 465 for SMTP and 993/995 for incoming mail as these are for secure e-mail only. Whilst some of our older servers still allow standard SMTP, IMAP & POP3, these will be discontinued in the future.
