Penguin are pleased to offer both managed dedicated servers supplied by ourselves and also server management services for those of you who already have your own server, but would like us to manage the security, software updates and general server administration.

Penguin can offer you your own dedicated server without the time requirements or struggling of installing software updates, security audits and general server maintenance. We handle all of the general behind the scenes work, leaving you to concentrate on running your business and dealing with your customers more productively.

We can supply servers in a variety of specifications, with monthly data transfer limits between 750Gb per month to unmetered 10Mbit, 100Mbit or even 1Gbit connections to the Internet. A variety of control panel solutions are available as well including Ensim, Plesk, Cpanel & Helm, however we highly recommend the use of the Ensim control panel software for the management of your server as it offers superior performance, security & reliability. We can also offer various operating system configurations including Redhat Enterprise, CentOS, FreeBSD and Windows Server 2003 Standard.

All of our managed dedicated servers are monitored by Alertra, a professional specialist server monitoring company. This gives us 24/7 monitoring of all servers to ensure that in the event of a server failing, we are notified immediately and so the matter can be rectified as soon as possible by our server  management team, therefore drastically minimising any potential downtime to your server & hosted sites.

We can also provide additional services such as full custom server configurations (RAID, Private Networks, SCSI, SAS, etc), load balancing solutions, off-site backup space and a variety of backup solutions for your server for additional peace of mine - please contact us with your requirements for a custom quote and details of these.
